Thank you very much for visiting the Churchwood Community Primary School website. We hope to have included many of the elements that we consider make Churchwood special. It will give you a feel for what we offer, value, achieve and aspire to attain.

Churchwood is a community primary school providing education for children between the ages of three and eleven. We are situated in the picturesque setting of Church Wood. The school is light and spacious with excellent facilities and a large playing field. We have just over 200 children who are organized into seven single age classes. We also have a thriving nursery and a Toddler Group.

We have high expectations of our pupils and aim for them to reach their full potential. We pride ourselves on having an ethos that promotes learning in a caring, supportive environment. All of our children say that they enjoy school.

We have "successfully established a calm atmosphere for learning where pupils and adults treat each other with mutual respect."(Ofsted November 2007). Churchwood is committed to partnership with its parents. If you have any concerns during your child's time here feel free to contact the School. We will do our best to try to help you.

This website can only give a snapshot of Churchwood. We welcome visitors to the school, so do not hesitate to contact us if you would like the opportunity to experience life at Churchwood first-hand.

Welcome to Churchwood Community Primary School
